You can not socialise with them in real life like stay in a hotel with them and communicate in person, you will have to be good at your timing like if your talking to them from a different country the hours may be different because you mite have to get up early in the morning or they might have to go to sleep earlier. some advantages of video conferencing is you dont have to meet them in person incase you dont like to socialise much or if you dont like the person very much and this saves a lot of money of travelling costs.
